Privacy Notice
This page describes how Anestha handles your data.
Local storage
Anestha stores preferences and calculator state in your browser so the app can restore your working state between visits.
- Selected language and theme
- Calculator input values and settings
- Custom syringe presets and protocols
- Saved multi-drug templates
This data is stored via localStorage in your browser. It remains on your device unless you sign in to sync.
Account and cloud sync
If you sign in with Google, the following data is stored in our cloud database (Supabase, Seoul region):
- Google account profile (name, email, avatar URL)
- Calculator state and settings (synced across devices)
- Custom syringe presets
Sign-in is optional. All calculators work without an account. Cloud data is protected by row-level security tied to your account.
Protocol marketplace
When you upload a protocol to the marketplace, the following is stored publicly:
- Protocol name, author name, institution, category, description
- Protocol data (syringe presets)
- Download count and share code
You can delete your uploaded protocols at any time. Password-protected and private protocols are only accessible via share code.
Feedback
Feedback submitted through the app is stored in our database and visible only to you and the developer.
Do not submit patient identifiers or other sensitive personal health information through feedback.
Analytics
Anestha uses the following analytics services to understand usage patterns and improve the app:
- Vercel Web Analytics — anonymous page view data, no cookies
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymized usage data with IP anonymization enabled
No personal health information or calculator input values are sent to analytics services.
External links
The app contains links to external medical references. Those destinations have their own privacy practices.
Examples include DailyMed, PubMed, and OpenAnesthesia.
